Meet Nykole and Justin

Meet Nykole and Justin! They were married just this past weekend on Jan 11^th at Front Street Park in Melbourne Florida. Despite being a budget DIY bride, Nykole managed to pull off a beautiful and fun “vintage rockabilly” theme with the help of Your Day, Your Way.

With her planner coordinating the set up, she was able to get ready with the girls and then simply walk into her reception (staying away from all of that disaster related stress). Although rain threatened the outdoor ceremony, it stayed clear until well after the pictures were done.

As I go through the editing process be on the look out for photos!

Your Day, Your Way

Exciting News – I have officially partnered with Your Day,Your Way! They are a wedding and event planning business located out of Brevard, Florida. Owned and operated by Sarah Fincham, they provide friendly professional service at budgets that are catered to the client (similar to myself!).

This way we can allow everyone to have the beautiful day they deserve. And while Weddings are specifically targeted, there is no even too big or small.

What does this mean? Well, you can still hire me independently, however you can also book us together for coordination and photography to get a great discounted rate.

About Sarah at Your Day, Your Way: Sarah Fincham is a wife and mother of two. She previously worked as a bridal consultant at a bridal shop, and as a formal event planner. Sarah is a graduate of Ashworth College, a licensed wedding and event coordinator, and a member of ABC (Associations of Bridal Consultants). Through her experience as a bride, bridesmaid, attendant, consultant, and planner she have come to understand every detail, dollar and point of view that goes into a wedding. Family Days - Fincham's

Better Together: Andy and Steph (part 1)

Andy and Steph have been married for a few years now. They were visiting family (and Florida) for the first time in 2 years (they live in Alaska) so decided to take this opportunity to hit the beach and have some couple shots taken!

These were actually taken at the end of the shoot, but the sunset ones are my favorite so I thought I should start with them. These were taken at the Ron Jon's Resort in Cape Canaveral. Its a beautiful beach, perfect for picture taking too since it is pretty private.

Copyright Forms

Copyright is a pretty important subject. Without a release you can’t print your pictures and I can’t display my work. I have created pretty generic release forms that stick to the basics to simply protect both party’s and make sure we are both happy.

Prior to a shoot I will have these with me for us both to sign. Afterwords, I will scan it in to keep a digital record (in case one of us misplaces our hard copy)

Bun in the Oven: Sarah

Sarah and I went to the wedding of our good friend Sarah this weekend. No, neither Sarah mentioned is the Sarah from previous posts (haha). Sarahs, I apparently collect them.

Regardless, we took a short break before the reception to go take some maternity photographs on the beach. Mostly it was alot of twirling and belly hugging without any real direction, but we had fun and got a few cute shots.

Courtyard of Love: Craig and Sarah

I'd like to start off this series by pointing out the beautiful locket that Craig gave Sarah for Valentines Day! He got it on Etsy, via Rotsina Creations, her lockets are beautiful and I encourage everyone to go check them out!

These photos were taken in the courtyard area of the Rossetter House. I am pretty found of the bubble image below, you really don't realize the work that goes into capturing such a picture until you try to take it....
